Song of Love
04:04pm 16/08/2007
I have a terrible voice but I love to write. I wrote this song for you Jessica.

Those days

I felt on my fingertips

I wrote what it was like

To let life slip

To miss you

To hold you

Oh, I couldn’t write those things down

So I sang what I could

Without memory

Cause it came from emotions

I held inside of me

Oh yes I sang

I sang this song of love

To miss you and hold

Oh, I promised not to write those things so I sing them

So I could say them now

today, tomorrow, and the day after
01:51pm 14/08/2007

Do you like the sunlight on your back?
, Or the moonlight on your face?
Do you get through the days you hate?
Just so you can sleep at night?

The borrowed smile I took from your face

I use it to get me through today

And if tomorrow is looking bleak

I am just so depressed I just cannot speak the words you wish me to speak

I’ll tell you what it takes

To get through these days

Just look at the future that lies ahead

And the words that I have said

“I promise to love you

I promise things are looking better

There are times when I can’t be there

It doesn’t mean I love you any less.”

For the long haul (the scattered brain)
07:57pm 12/08/2007

For the long haul (the scattered brain)

We ride our emotions; the distance from the sun.

We take a one way trip thinking “Never to return”

It’s my fault; I can never travel without you to keep me awake.

My eyes are bloodshot red but they’re so happy to see what you say

Here we are again,

Leaving nothing to the imagination

Saying what should be said

It’s the same old friends

In different situations

I’m left thinking

“Let’s just make it work this time”

And buried deep inside of me

Is an emotion that has not been expressed

It won’t cure your sadness,

And I’m pretty sure it wont get rid of your troubled past

It’s going to take us the distance of the sun

A place where we all return

Summer's the worst
09:30am 02/08/2007

Alright, I am taking a break from digging a hole to share a video that you may have or not seen. Some songs you cannot really relate to but you can understand the reality the song is trying to portray.  Great song and music video from Michael Leviton called Summer's the Worst.

Summer I'm lost in a wonderful trance
I drink lots of milkshakes and watch people pass
Through diner windows I see them hold hands
The kids all look beautiful just because they can

Perfecting their tans, showing off their physiques
The boys are all hot and the girls are in heat
I take off my shirt, still my heart's on my sleeve
I can't help but fall for every girl that I see

And the pickup lines are well rehearsed
The sun will melt your just deserts
You'll fall in love
You'll fall head first
That's when you'll learn that summer is the worst

Summer's the worst
Summer love is a scam
But I can't help dreaming of summer romance
My bubbles may burst but that won't hold me back
I've got quite a nerve
I'm giving summer just one more chance

I'm in the crowd looking for a girl
I'm gonna drown looking for a pearl
Show your skin
You might get burned
But all the heat is worth the hurt
We'll fall in love
We'll dive head first
We'll never learn that summer is the worst

Summer's the worst but I'm hanging around
I'll take you to my favorite place to drown
We'll smile and we'll flirt and we'll join in the crowd
I'm lost in the surf
Yeah, summer really gets me down

I guess we'll both just take a number
'Cause a heart's a thing to plunder
'Cause it's summer
'Cause it's summer
(because it's summer)
'Cause it's summer
'Cause it's summer
'Cause it's summer
(because it's summer)
'Cause it's summer

Alright, I have to dig and vomit salty tortilla chips. don't ask me why i ate them for breakfast.

Life as We Know it.
05:41am 01/08/2007

I think we all start out in this world the same; we think of nothing, we do nothing. Slowly, some of us develop and desire change. Some adapt to the world around us and live life. There is nothing wrong with any choice you make.

No matter what, it’s your choice to live the life you choose.

Yeah, blah blah, stuff you already know.

I know.

Point is, we all were born the same, and we will all have the same tragic deaths, but you cannot tell me what happens in-between my timeline. What will happen tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, it’s just all in the air spinning around my head making me dizzy with wonder that I have vomited expectations. I cannot worry myself sick about the future, I just have to do what I know is possible for the time being and slowly work myself to where I plan to be at some point in my life.

I made a picture of what I think I looked like as a newborn as I tasted the bitter life that waited for me in the future. I think I was a pretty cute baby back then. Just like any mexican baby I grew facial hair years before puberty.

This blue life has got me down. Wishing colors had another meaning other than my mood. These colors I wish to blend into my TV set and see a picture perfect life I have yet to make. These colors I see them out my window frame, they move at such a fast rate, I have yet to adapt.

That's all I could come up with right now, if I add or subtract from what i wrote, i'll post another entry with it.

My perfect life would have guitar hero hooked up to the television.

I don't want to sound mean, but this guy looks like a mentally retarded indian.
I love his voice, I think this video made him look more retarded than he actually is. Maybe close your eyes and you'll enjoy it. I do.

The Story of my Life.
01:24pm 31/07/2007

Once upon a time there was a hare who, boasting how he could run faster than anyone else, was forever teasing Jaime for its slowness. Then one day, the irate Jaime answered back: "Who do you think you are? There's no denying you're swift, but even you can be beaten!" The hare squealed with laughter.

"Beaten in a race? By whom? Not you, surely! I bet there's nobody in the world that can win against me, I'm so speedy. Now, why don't you try?"

Annoyed by such bragging, Jaime accepted the challenge. A course was planned, and the next day at dawn they stood at the starting line. The hare yawned sleepily as the meek Jaime trudged slowly off. When the hare saw how painfully slow his rival was, he decided, half asleep on his feet, to have a quick nap. "Take your time!" he said. "I'll have forty winks and catch up with you in a minute."

The hare woke with a start from a fitful sleep and gazed round, looking for Jaime. But the creature was only a short distance away, having barely covered a third of the course. Breathing a sigh of relief, the hare decided he might as well have breakfast too, and off he went to munch some cabbages he had noticed in a nearby field. But the heavy meal and the hot sun made his eyelids droop. With a careless glance at Jaime, now halfway along the course, he decided to have another snooze before flashing past the winning post. And smiling at the thought of the look on Jaime's face when it saw the hare speed by, he fell fast asleep and was soon snoring happily. The sun started to sink, below the horizon, and Jaime, who had been plodding towards the winning post since morning, was scarcely a yard from the finish. At that very point, the hare woke with a jolt. He could see Jaime a speck in the distance and away he dashed. He leapt and bounded at a great rate, his tongue lolling, and gasping for breath. Just a little more and he'd be first at the finish. But the hare's last leap was just too late, for Jaime had beaten him to the winning post. Poor hare! Tired and in disgrace, he slumped down beside Jaime who was silently smiling at him.
